Staff were fantastic friendly.
My stay was really really nice in mid winter. The breakfast with fruit juices, sausages plus crisps was generous. Location: the hotel was just next door to Ironbridge and Shrewsbury and a 17th century manor house. Besides, The Iron Bridge and Tollhouse was 3 km away from the venue. I really enjoyed spending time here.

The location is beautiful and amazing, close to Telford for a family function and Ironbridge, Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Bridgenorth. the rooms are charming old and newly remodelled and generally offer a storage space, a lounge area, and armchairs.

Great location! It's nestled in the forest and you can easily walk to shopping centers and a market. the breakfast spread is delicious and generous overall, but the coffee left something to be desired. ☕

I loved the 16th century features of the building and the four poster bed. The food, especially the chef's homemade onion relish, and staff were excellent and everyone was really helpfull when the water pipe burst in another room,
The bedrooms and bathrooms were too hot and the heating was on all night.

We only stayed one night, but it was very nice. Photography is a hobby and I spent half the night poking around and taking photos and the staff was helpfull and supportive.
The only downside was we were on the top level, there is a winding staircase that really winds and is steep. I had two heavy bags as well as the person I was with. It was really hard on him and he had to sit down to rest at the top. I know it is a historic building, but I am sure there is a way to install a small lift for luggage. When you book, ask for a lower floor or ask them to have some carry your bags up.
